Through acts of sewing, conversation, and collective making, Sewing in a Field explores extractivism, cultural sustainability, and ecological relationships to land and labour. By situating craft within an active agricultural landscape, the project foregrounds community knowledge and participation as critical methods, using textile practice and film to document, honour, and sustain lived experiences embedded in place.
